Emotion
Hi, my main goal of 2018 is to be an influencer in mental health field. For me, it's very important to practice self-love in our entire life. No matter how good you do, there are always critics on you, maybe it's from your own self-talk or from the outside world.
From the chaos of the emotion, I learned, if we want to be ourselves, means to say to chase our dream or do whatever you want, we must embed a very strong antivirus. For human body, if you want to prevent a disease, you can take the vaccine injection. But for our mental state, how can we prevent the negativity from outside or inside?
The answer will be vary from people to people. Some people think that they will ignore or reject the negativity. These kind of people will try to push themselves to a certain level such as become a superbee (very hardworking style) or hit the goals in a short time, never rest.
But, for me, its totally unnatural. If our level is that low, means to say we are depressed, sad, look down of ourselves, how could we be motivated by having these emotions? However, some of us really can live with their brain but ignore all of the emotion. Sometimes, I admire them, when I am out of control in my life and emotions.
In natural ways, emotion and inner gut are the most powerful weapons for our daily life. Why? Emotions give us some signal to avoid some danger. When you are sad, thats mean this way of living isnt suitable for you. When you are mad, means that you are disappointed. And for other emotions.
With the emotion, combine with sharpen self-talk, we could carefully avoid the dangers and achieve what we want.
But, emotion will be really real for mental illness patients such as anxiety, antisocial, depression patients. So, it's very hard to harness our self-gut or emotion. During that state, emotion is kinda bigger than anything in your life. The negative feeling is just real, haunted you as black dogs.
Listen to the emotion? No. Your interpretation of the emotion will be wrong, during these states, self-harm will be the only way to settle your pain from the inside.
That's why. If someone can become the person who lead you to face the 'real' emotion with wisdom, you can be more calm and able to unleash hidden potentials in your entire life, if you can listen and play your emotion like a game. These kind of people should have great empathy with great listening skill. But without the basic, having the similar situation with you, they wont truly have great empathy to your stories. You wont feel their sincerity. It's just the matter of how you interpret their attitude.
Emotion is a weapon to protect you and to haunt you. That is why, being an influencer in this field is very difficult. Emotion sometimes can kill the influencer too, although he or she is ald practising self-compassion.
Actually emotionless is far more reliable in our life, if you are wisdom enough after meditating.
So, in my perspective of live is that, if possible, through the meditation, I can be more emotionless. But if I wanna be an influencer that can benefit normal people's life, embracing or challenging the emotion is the homework I need to do.
Let's practise self-love. To save the world with empathy.
